My name is Brian Horn and I am in my 11th year as the proud principal of Century Junior High School. I began my tenure in Orland School District 135 in 2011 as the assistant principal of Century and was appointed principal in 2012. Prior to coming to Century, I spent 11 years as a National Board certified 8th grade ELA teacher in Evergreen Park, IL.

I am a lifelong learner who believes that learning never ends. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in English Education, a master's degree from Governor's State University in Curriculum and Instruction, a master's degree from Saint Xavier University in Educational Administration, a certificate of advanced leadership studies from Havard University, and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University. In my free time, I love to travel, read, play tennis, explore Chicago on my bike, and spend time with friends and family.
